Emily Rodgers

Emily Rodgers is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based singer-songwriter. Rodgers' performs both solo and with a full band. Her music has been compared to Mazzy Star, Galaxie 500,[1] Cowboy Junkies,[2] and Neil Young.[3]

In 2008, Rodgers signed to Misra Records. That same year, she performed with a full band at the South by Southwest Music Festival [4] Rodgers' 2009 release Bright Day was produced by Josh Antonuccio at 3 Elliott Studio in Athens, Ohio. The album was mixed and mastered by legendary indie producer Kramer, who has praised her music in a number of interviews, calling her "a songwriter in the classic sense of the term." [5]
